Gary Copeland Named to USA Fencing Hall of Fame Class of 2027

We are celebrating our Founder and Head Coach, Gary Copeland, who has been honored for a lifetime of building champions on the strip. From all of us at NCF Boulder, congratulations, Gary - this one belongs to four decades of fencers who learned the sport in your room.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2027 is the headline of this honor: fencing's national community recognizing a coaching career that has shaped the sport for generations.

It joins a separate distinction Gary already holds, US Olympic Committee Fencing Coach of the Year, a national award for the best in the country.

And the proof is in the record: 46 individual national champions over a 47-year career, and Gary is on the strip with our fencers every single practice.
